Sewing swap part 4

Yesterday we received the most wonderful jam-packed parcel from the very talented Clair as part of the EB sewing swap. Not only was there a gorgeous twirly skirt and polka dot top for Lottie, but mister monster is now the proud owner of a cowboy shirt. Tucked in amongst all these delights was one of Clair's famous 'birdies'. He is already much loved and has been christened 'Augie'.

The skirt fabric is one that I had admired in a top Clair made for her daughter. And it looks just as fantastic in this skirt. But once again Lottie is too busy spinning to take pictures, but you get the idea.

And yay for polka dots! I have always been a big fan of all things dotty and spotty, so am loving that they are just everywhere this season. And now Lottie has her very own polka dot smock. Here she is giving Augie a big cuddle.

And lastly mister monster in his very retro cowboy shirt. I just love the shape of this shirt, especially the collar. I have made a few attempts at collars, but sadly they have all been rather disastrous. This one is just perfect. I wish Clair lived nearby so she could give me a few lessons. It is so gorgeous in fact that I think it will have to be part of mister monsters party wear for Lottie's birthday party next week. Doesn't he just look adorable?

Thank-you so much Clair. Everything is just beautiful! You are one very talented sewing mumma!
