busy

turning this

and this

into this.

I am about a third of the way through. I think. Well, I hope. If there is more than that I may just have to do the great fabric giveaway of 2008.

I did stop for a break yesterday to make this with the kids. A giant roll of christmas wrap. And here's a tip for you...... do not, I repeat do not attempt paint stamping with a two year old in the lounge room. Two year olds love paint and they love stamping, they especially love stamping the floor and the furniture. I must have been having a complete lapse in judgement when I thought it would be a fine indoors activity.

I am also hoping to get Christmas outfit number one made by tomorrow morning. I am yet to even pull out the pattern so I don't like my chances of getting it finished on time. But a girl has to think positive in the Christmas crazy month otherwise it would be far too easy to just curl up in bed and eat cookies.

Did I mention I am yet to start my Christmas shopping? Eeek how many sleeps are left again?

Thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes. You girls are swell!

Ooh - I put my hand up to any donations (hmm, only joking - I have enough as it is). Lovely folding - I want to know if you can keep it that way (only because I can't!.

The shelves look great Ingrid, I wonder if I could steal Ellyse's to do that with???
Love the Christmas paper, we did that last year, but haven't even thought of it this year. Will be sure not to do it in the lounge room though!!!

We will be sewing together today. I will be thinking of you - I will be thinking of you. I am making a special dress today, or at least hoping to.

Hope its a productive day.

Oh gosh I so need to do that too *blush* The shelving looks so much easier to manage than the tubs system ~ tubs goet so messy, huh! I'm glad your tubs look like mine do, makes me feel like I'm in good company LOL

The new storage looks great - especially while it's freshly sorted and folded! I'll have to remember your wrapping paper idea for James to try next year - where do you get the paper from?
