this is.....

.....the contents of my handbag.

Missing from this pic are the whopping great handfuls of receipts and paper which I decided were best put in the bin rather than photographed, and also my house keys which seem to have gone walkabout.
Check out other handbag secrets over at three buttons. This weeks theme from Sharon reminds me of an old Dollypolitan magazine spread.

Sorry this blog has been a bit quiet the past week. My head is full to the brim with other goings on. Maybe just maybe we will be moving to Melbourne. We hummed and ahhed about this 12 months ago and now I think we are ready to take the plunge. We are flying down next week for a quick research trip, so come on all you Melbourne girls, tell me where I should live. I like the sound of Yarraville but Mr Big wants Eastside. Of course we cannot afford the places I want to live on the Eastside so we will have to be further out from the city. Hit me with ideas.

oh my, the thought of you moving to Melbourne is just too exciting not to comment on!!! I'm in the outer easter suburbs but it's borderline bogan-ville out here so you'd be much better off somewhere else LOL

How exciting for you! As you know I live in the Southeast and I really hope you will make the move too.

Exciting times for you all! We have family in Kilsyth and Diggers Rest - Both nice areas. Good luck - and yes your bag is far too neat Ingrid

Firstly, even if you throw a heap of reciepts and paper in to the mix, your hand bag is incredibly neat. My hand bag has enough in it to sustain me and the kids for a week, easy.
And a move to Melbourne, how super duper exciting. I do remember you talking about it ages ago.
We are moving in just under two weeks, but, ah, nowhere as exciting as Melbourne, LOL

Well my vote is for west because that's where I am.
Yaraville is lovely, close to the city, lots of funky shops and cafes.

Oh Ingrid! Melbourne, I love Melbourne! I will be pushing DH for our next posting now. How cool would that be? We could sew, drink tea, and chat regularly!

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat and you weren't going to tell me! oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh! do you have time for a quick coffee during your visit....we'll come to you

well I love port melbourne and am yet to venture out to yarraville but hubby tells me its trendy.....all the suburbs I love are super expensive and with work paying rent I can afford my tastes (almost) so thats not too helpful ohhhh I've got fingers crossed you make the move but then I'll miss you when I move home to sydney...

Ingrid how exciting! Melbourne's great! I won't bombard you with 'advice' about where to live though as it depends such a lot on your budget. I'm eastern suburbs and love it for the trees around us - my SIL is Bayside and loves the beaches. GOod luck with your decision.

How exciting for all of us in Melbourne that you are coming to live, can't wait to meet you.

I live in the green wedge (north east) and I just love it. I know it is a long way from all the trendy inner city stuff but it certainly has its advantages.

Good luck with your research.

You MUST come to Warrandyte (eastern suburb). People think we're out the back of whoop whoop but in fact we're only half an hour from the city and there's only ONE set of traffic lights between us and Hoddle Street. Lots of arty/crafty people out here and lots of places to get supplies. Drop in for a cuppa.
