coming and going

There is lovely mail both coming and going today.

Last week I won a giveaway from Anna Laura and it arrived today. I was so excited as I am a brooch kind of gal and this sweet little lady will fit right into my collection. The detail is just so amazing, such teeny tiny stitches!

And I was extra spolit with some lovely screen printed fabrics and a little pouch as well. Thanks Anna, you are sweet, generous and talented to boot!

And I have finally gotten around to putting together my first pay-it-forward gift. Yes I am slow, but one of the things I loved about this game is you have a whole year to send off your gifts. That sounds like just the time frame I need, so no apologies for being late, because I am not. So one down, three to go and seven more months to do it in.

Here is the first bundle of goodies. Some vintage patterns, including a french childrens pattern book, a Debbie book illustrated by Marlier ( Cass gave me a copy of this one a few months ago and then I came across another in the local op shop so I had to pass along the goodness), some Eloise Wilkin little golden books and some fabrics. I have a feeling the lovely lady I am sending these to will like the vintage pattern illustrations best of all.

I love Eloise Wilkin illustrations! They were a favourite as a little girl. We have a gorgeous one called "We Help Daddy" - so delightfully retro!

Those packages look great. I love that Holly Hobby fabric. Someone is going to be very happy with that.
