cuckoo's nest

I was a lucky girl today and got to have a sneak around a rummage sale that doesn't officially open until tomorrow, and look at one of the goodies that came home with me.

It is a vintage Ravensburger game called cuckoos nest, illustrated by Dick Bruna and with the sweetest little wooden bird playing pieces. I am undecided as yet whether it should be stored on the kids game shelf or in with my treasures. I love it!

Love it! Dick Bruna is a star. I'd be creating a side table from it, and making brooches with the birds, but drooling over it is pretty worthwhile too!

I love Dick Bruna's illustrations - I had no idea he made board games - something new I'll have to keep an eye out for!
