recovering

On Saturday Lottie had her eye surgery. We are all still feeling a bit fragile but getting better each day. Lucky we had Jeanie and brilliant caring doctors and nurses to help us through. My little girl was so brave but the whole experience was far more traumatic than we expected. The good news is the operation went perfectly and the worst is over. Now it is time for quiet days at home and lots of extra cuddles.

So sorry to hear it was so traumatic. Poor poppet and poor you! Great to hear that Jeanie was a good assistant. She comes from good stock. :)
Take care Lottie and rest up.

Glad to hear it went well. Surgery with children is never fun and I hope the trauma of it fades fast.

I had eye surgery (for a lazy eye) when I was about Lottie's age, I didn't much like it either.

Thiking of you and her recovery, glad it all went well.

Yes all the best to little Lottie-speedy recovery ++. My oldest had eye sx when 11 mths on both eyes (it was incredibly tricky to get those eye drops in) but I do imagine it is more traumatic with an older child. All the best and take it easy xx
