Mr Grass Caterpillar was born at kinder a few weeks ago. The small boy has been astonished that his little egg carton caterpillar has grown such a lucious grass mane so quickly.
He sits looking out my kitchen window and makes me smile.
And just in case you hadn't noticed, this blog seems to be following a bit of a food theme lately. What can I say other than I am pregnant and becoming slightly food obsessed. I have terrible terrible heartburn and any food that can be eaten without making it worse is relished at the moment, So here is yet another food pic. This was dinner a few nights ago. You could call it an orange yellow tray of goop, but I call it pumpkin, potato and leek bake. It really is quite delicious despite its ugly appearance, and it is extra good with baby peas and hot crusty bread rolls. It is even better the next day for lunch. And best of all, no heartburn!

Love mr caterpillar, very cute! I think your yellow 'goop' looks delicious, might have to try it myself as my 3 love their yellow vegies.
How cute is that little caterpillar!
Adorable caterpillar!
And your dinner looked YUM!!!! I had that dreaded heartburn with both Will and Moo. UGH!
Hmm, cute caterpiller
Mmmm, yum dinner...or lunch..or snack.
Take care.
Cute caterpiller! I'm looking at the photo and feeling very hungry. I guess lunch is calling.
This is such an easy project for my 3 year old. Thanks so much!
Oh that looks so yummy & cheesy & creamy! I think I needed to take out shares in Reni & Zantac with both my pregnancies - here's hoping that it settles soon! G
The caterpillar is cute. We must do that - maybe some alfalfa would be good because I could eat it then. The yellow goop sounds good. I hear you on the heartburn it was bad with Liam, and even worse with Noah.
I love the caterpillar - I would like something so green and healthy in my kitchen.
As for the goop, looks so super tasty to me!
Is he a Very Hungry Caterpillar?
I love any sort of 'bake' and yours looks delicious. And always better the next day, aren't they?
Love that grassy caterpillar -- what fun! :)
